Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the development of Three Dimensional (3D) proposals, ensuring they meet project requirements and align with client expectations.

  • Review architectural and design drawings submitted by consultants and contractors to verify compliance with project specifications and design intent.

  • Verify and assess the quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of materials proposed by contractors and design consultants.

  • Meet with clients to understand their needs and requirements, actively listen to their feedback, and incorporate their preferences into the design process.

  • Manage design projects from concept development through to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Prepare accurate drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to guide the construction process and facilitate project execution.

  • Conduct thorough research and compile reports on feasibility, environmental impact, and other relevant factors to inform decision-making processes.

  • Comply with safety standards and local planning regulations, ensuring that designs meet all necessary codes and requirements.

  • Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as engineers and contractors, to coordinate and integrate architectural designs with other disciplines.

  • Lead a team in the preparation of architecture designs, including schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

  • Communicate with clients to resolve design-related issues, address concerns, and provide technical information throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct preliminary studies and evaluations of projects to determine design requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Facilitate design proposal presentations to clients, effectively communicating design concepts, rationale, and benefits.

  • Maintain ongoing client contact to seek or provide technical information and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.

  • Conduct group and individual meetings, presentations, workshops, and review sessions to address any design issues and ensure project progress.

  • Continuously seek improvements in design standards to optimize cost-efficiency, work quality, and aesthetics.

Requirements:

  • Possess a degree in architecture or a related field, providing a strong foundation in architectural principles and practices.

  • 12-15 years of experience in detailed drawings with coordination across Structural and MEP disciplines, extensive expertise in REVIT and BIM.

  • Previous experience as an architect is preferred, demonstrating practical knowledge and expertise in the field.

  • Exhibit excellent technical drawing skills and proficiency in software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Newforma.

  • Possess strong communication and project management skills to effectively collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate good interpersonal and presentation skills, allowing for effective communication of design concepts and ideas.

  • Have knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards to ensure compliance and adherence to legal requirements.

  • Display strong creative and visualization skills, enabling the development of innovative and visually appealing architectural designs.
