SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Diesel Fitter)
Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
Dismantling, removing, and checking engine assemblies, transmissions, and components.
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, following service manuals.
Performing scheduled maintenance services like oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups. Reassembling engines and parts after repair. Testing and adjusting mechanical parts for optimal performance.
Diagnosing and testing parts using computer assistance. Inspecting vehicles, issuing roadworthiness certificates, and addressing necessary work.
Responding to vehicle breakdown service calls.
High Voltage Electrician
Inspecting electrical equipment for safety compliance. Installing electrical wiring and fixtures in various buildings, including commercial establishments.
Collaborating with other contractors to ensure electrical work meets code requirements. Installing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and junction boxes.
Wiring new structures, both commercial and residential. Installing electrical meters for measuring usage. Coordinating with specialized electricians for specific electrical tasks.
Repairing existing wiring systems, including fixing insulation and handling fuses and breakers. Maintaining electrical systems in diverse settings such as industrial plants, schools, hospitals, and offices.
Auto Electrician
Using test equipment to identify electrical and electronic malfunctions.
Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components. Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles.
Connecting power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to the power supply.
Adjusting engine control systems and timing.
Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors.
Repairing and replacing faulty ignition and electrical wiring.
Replacing defective parts, including fuses, lamps, and switches.
